Aimbec Carpentry Ltd insist upon a culture of safe working practices at all times and employ the services of a Health & Safety advisor to ensure all procedures are up to date with current legislation.

All operatives are CSCS card holders and supervisors have SSSTS certification.

All projects commence with the production of a site specific risk assessment and method statement which is conveyed to the site team by way of a tool box talk briefing. Personnel are kept advised of company safety procedures by regular consultation. We encourage a “free speech” culture where operatives can openly discuss improvements to health and safety wherever possible.

Copies of our H&S policy are available upon request.

We are registered with CHAS, Constuctionline and Builder’s Profile thus reinforcing our commitment to acheiving the highest levels of health and safety.

    “See It – Say It”

“See It – Say It” is our own safety initiative designed to encourage culture change within the industry.
All workers are encouraged to report unsafe situations to try to stop these occurances happening in the first place. One of the best ways to do this is to encourage open discussion at any time but particularly during the task briefing at the begining of each day. Workers with experience in their given trade have a wealth of knowledge which should be tapped into to gain other points of view when discussing the safest way to carry out a task.

At induction, operatives are told about the scheme and given a card to keep with them stating the main bullet points.
